Bookiness – The Hunger Games (2008) by Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As with the Harry Potter series, I waited until the third book was out before seeing if the hype was worth it. I’m pleased to say that, in terms of Katniss, all expectations were met. The Running Man + Margaret Atwood Dystopia + a smidge of Lord of the Flies + Orwellian undertones = damn good fun.
